Natarajasana (Dancer Pose or Lord of the Dance Pose) is a deep backbend that requires patience, focus, and persistence. The pose is named after the Hindu god Shiva Nataraja, King of the Dance, who finds bliss in the midst of destruction. Like its namesake, Lord of the Dance Pose embodies finding steadying calm within.
This is a beautiful way to embrace your strength, balance and inner focus. We will be working with a strap for this one, however, if you don't have one, don't fret, you can go without or use the belt from your dressing gown/bath robe.
Enjoy the freedom of opening your heart, build strength and stability and find your inner balance. Let us know what your think in the comments:)
