Anuloma means “to go with the natural flow” and Krama means “in steps.” In this pranayama technique, the process of breathing in is broken into stages or steps, followed by a long, smooth exhalation. The inhalation cultivates energy and vitality while the length and exhalation supports relaxation so that the overall effect is one of balance.
